Runblog: Copenhagen 7/May.

I did this a bit earlier, in the beginning of May… but this was the run where the idea of the runblog materialised, so here we go.

Summary: nice easy 10k run helped by a flat city. I left the hotel at around 6:30 and ran along the Sydhavnen, to Bibliotekshaven, Christianborg Slot and the inner city, then thru Nyhavn and again the bank of Sydhavnen to Kastellet, and then back to the hotel via Christianshavn, so I can cross some bridges (because they were there).

Weather: fresh 5°C, sunny, I was glad I brought a cap

Fun fact 1: Copenhagen’s name comes from Kaupmannahǫfn, meaning “merchant’s harbour”.

Fun fact 2: Copenhagen smells nice in the morning. Fresh, with hints of breakfast smell out of cafés.

Fun fact 3: from what I saw, I would move to this city in the blink of an eye.
